From the Trenches: A field Report of an Agile Transformation Journey

Have you heard enough Agile “best practices” talks and still struggle to implement Agile Transformation in the “real world”?

This session is a field report of a KC based mid-size company’s Agile Transformation journey. We will try to share our experience and lessons learned during our journey to transform a company with highly distributed teams of 400+ software engineering resources, from “mixed bag” processes, tools, organizational structure and cultures, to a Scrum based delivery organization.

Learning Outcomes:

* Share our experience on transforming a PMO-driven project-based resource structure to a product centric, delivery focused Agile organization;

* Lessons learned on how to develop leading indicators to ensure every story is “success verifiable”;

* How to instill a continuous improvement mindset in the teams’ daily activities
