Are our current development and QA environments sufficient? We spent tens of thousands on CI/CD, how did that improve our delivery capability? Is our poor quality slowing us down? What percentage of time is our work actually being “worked” in our teams’ systems? All of these and more have been answered with flow-based metrics. Expanding on the Keynote from Dan Vacanti at last year’s Lean Agile KC Conference, we will look into flow-based metrics and determine how those can guide the best business decision.

Kristofor Walburn, CSP, is a software professional with over 16 years of industry experience. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from Northwest Missouri State University. Kristofor is a Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), and Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) from the Scrum Alliance Kristofor has the unique experience of first learning Agile in a distributed environment while on a 5 year expatriate assignment in Bangkok, Thailand. From this experience, he moved on to Accenture where he consulted Fortune 100 clients at various phases of their Agile journeys, specializing in distributed Agile teams. Most recently, Kristofor is an Agile Lead at VinSolutions, Inc. in the Websites organization focused on delivering a best-in-class Content Management platform while eliminating waste with Lean-Agile.
