I’ve been doing agile for over 10 years now, and a full-time coach for the past 4 years. In those 4 years, I’ve had my share of annual reviews, but I’m not sure my boss quite knew what to do with me, as I’m the only coach in the building. But I never remember doing a true agile retrospective on being a coach. So in the spirit of being agile, this presentation will be a retrospective of my work over the last four years. What did I do well? What could I have done better? What will I commit do doing better in the future?
Lead Agile Coach, Great West Financial
Great West Financial, Agile Coach Scott Bird is the Lead Agile Coach for Great West Financial, responsible for process definition, training, and coaching for agile teams and projects at Great West. He also contributes to a variety of process improvement projects and helps teams facilitate dynamic, productive, and valuable meetings and planning sessions. He has over 10 years of agile and agile implementation experience and over 20 years of traditional project management experience. He has a bunch of alphabet soup behind his name, but bottom line it’s really all about the collaboration and communication between teams in the organization.
